Commercial Description:
This is a filtered American wheat beer, with a touch of natural raspberry flavor and aroma. Before you pass this one over because it’s a “fruit” beer, try it on a hot summer afternoon. Our brewers even admit it’s their beer of choice during those hot summer beer festivals.

clear, pale gold. raspberry nose, obviously with a watery raspberry mouthfeel. but at least it doesn’t taste like bananas

Tastes like redbull, smells like raspberries and plastic. I didn’t really enjoy it.

This was a rather bland and ordinary beer in all aspects. Something I would still drink though.

Even though this is more of a feminine selection, as a male I will admit I like this beer. I appreciate the balance of raspberry flavor and wheat complexity in this brew. To me, if a beer can be slammed or enjoyed over the course of an hour, it has great versatility. I feel that this beer has that. I assume over time I will realize more important factors. As an amateur reviewer though, I am inclined to lean toward my instinctual opinions on certain beers.

Pours a very light gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma full of, well, raspberries, with some sweetness underneath. Flavor is very fruity, much more so than other fruit beers I’ve tried. Nice thirst quencher on a muggy afternoon.

Clear, bright amber appearance. Raspberry evident in the aroma as soon as you lift the glass. Fizzy carbonation over a bready malt flavor. Thin taste reflects the raspberry additive. Some bitterness on the back of the throat. Thin, crisp, fairly dry finish.

On Tap. Poured a light hazy yellow with a small white head. Strong dominating raspberry aroma. Tastes of light raspberries (not as strong as the aroma would leave you to believe) and light wheat. Watery body.

Usual yellow, a mite hazy. Big raspberry in nose, sweet and fruity. Starts fruity but not enough, at least some toastiness follows. Was labeled on the menu as an American Wheat plus raspberry, and it pretty much lives up to the underwhelming legacy of your typical American Wheat.
