Lumpy (1530), Carrollton, Texas, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle. Body-dark chocolate brown with a thick foamy two inch head. Nose-mild, light plastic smoke, meat tenderizer, pork chops. Taste-PERFECT peat smoke, bacon fat, perfect high CO2, some light maple syrup, good tasting stinging CO2 finish, a little metal, unsweet raisin, corn husk, sweetens as it warms. Very nice.

Light mouthfeel, peat, alcohol hidden well, and caramel with a dryish finish. Pours dark amber ruby brown with a big head. Nose is sweet and malty. Taste is sweet and malty with lots of rich caramel and a touch of smoke and roasted malts. This is a yummy Scotch Ale. Heavy malts on the nose, some dark fruityness as well. Very light tasting, but in a good way, very tasty, nice and malty. Some smoke, as well as sugar and malt. Pours clear dark amber with an off-white head. Caramel, raisins, and a dash of citrus on the nose. Nuts, caramel and bread crust taste. Dry peaty finish.
