Hazy dark brown with a small skin of a tan head. Some light roast and apple butter a bit of chocolate aroma. Thin light and sweet cocolate and pitted fruit. Soft carbonation and a light body.

Oct 16, 2008 22oz found at random shop in Wenatchee. My first time with this style .. interesting. Appearance is pure cola from pour to head to body. Dark, opaque red coloring. Nose of sweet roast which transfers to taste, which is a bit tart/peppery. Interesting, but lacking overall.

Oct 4, 2008 Deep brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is roasty with milk chocolate, white bread. Taste is very mild- light smoke, chocolate, background low A.A. hoppiness, light caramel.

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle: Deep amber brown with a modest beige head. Soft and fruity nost with a thick roasty malt backbone. Tastes of dark fruit, roast, molasses,and a bit of cocoa. An easy drinker here, no need to fear the quilter.

Aug 26, 2008 Bottle: Pours a dark ebony color, nice head and lacing. The nose is toasty and doughy with a small roast and sweet peanut note. The flavor is balanced, no astringency or anything, but a mild toast and nutty flavor. The finish is clean and toasty. I’ve had amber ales that are more roasty than this. Finishes chocolaty and mellow.
