On tap @ Toronado. Pours a deep copper color with a lacing head. Sweet aroma that gives way to a leafy hoppiness. Medium body, a bit sweet and grainy, with a sticky bitter-hop finish. Not bad.

Thanks grownfool! I love it when breweries that are not in the PNW call their beers as such. Makes me glad to live where I do. Dark brown varnish in the glass, dense creamy head, barely tan. Some caramel malt and earthy hops on the nose, neither one too strong. Sludgy sediment in the bottle, decided to leave it there. Earthy stemmy hops are found throughout the sip, some cola and some toasted bread crust. I like this amber for having plenty of flavors that support each other and add greatly to the entire beer. Lacks the bitter punch i expect with a PNW description, but whatever, it’s still a fine amber long on flavor.

22oz bottle. Cloudy amber pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of earthy hops, apple and something else that’s not pleasant. Flavor is malt with an earthy hop balance and that same odd note that was off in the nose. My friend who brought this one back said it wasn’t like that on tap. I’ll re-rate if I ever get the chance to try it again.

This is a big tasty red ale. There is a lot of bitterness and very dry. No sweetness at all. Very low alcohol is a negative for me. Slight sour aroma with grains and malt. I would name this Big Red or Red Hop.

This copper ale poured with a decent beige head and a nutty aroma. There is a relatively complex flavor, including toffee, cloves, nuts and citrus. The hopping is quite good, providing a sturdy citrus finish.
