Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Very attractive amber, lasting off white head. Very good conidtion. Nice best bitter, good balance of yeast malt and hop. Little bit of ginger. Really nice fruit. Rather a good bitter.

A Mes rate: cask at the Hop Farm festival.
Awesome golden brown colour with a thin white head and in excellent condition. A lovely peaty malt aroma with some balancing pineapple sweetness with some good biscuity notes too. Similar flavour with a superb balance of pineapple sweetness and grapefruit bitterness. The green hoppage in the finish is not really my thing but it really doesn’t spoil it. The faint citric sourness is lovely. Straight forward English stuff but drinkable as hell and very enjoyable.

Cask at Glenrothes BF 08. Nose is warm sweet malts, some sweet orange. Mouth is fruity and lemony, then malty, very watery. Exceedingly dull.

Cask conditinoed @ Guide Dog, Soton. Copper. Slightly thin with a little off yeastiness. A light fairly bland bitter apart from that. Not a great start for the brewer.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. An amber coloured beer. The aroma is a bit sour and musty with some apple notes. The taste is sweet and malty but with some apple wine hints. Really quite odd and not too pleasant.
