Commercial Description:
Our Jubilee Ale evolved from the Old Ale tradition of beers, a brewing style emphasizing rich malt flavors, caramel sweetness, and a balanced finish. The result is a beer suited for a summer picnic and yet robust enough to stand up to a stiff winter wind. Jubilee Ale makes any season a time of joy and celebration.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of zrrbrrt. Poured a deeper amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas of cloves, coconuts, vanilla and chocolate. I kept thinking tanning lotion. Tastes follow suit.

Dark brown color. Large sized fizzy tan head. Aroma is fruity, grape and earthy. A medium bodied Old Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet with the dominant flavors being figs and grapes. Very earthy. Understated spicy hops. Smooth taste. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours medium to deep amber with slight haze and thin head. Aroma is solventy esters, and DMS with some paint thinner and off stale hops. Chocolate in the flavor nutty some toffee and caramel with more fruity esters, fusel alcohols. Thin and weak finish.

Pours a translucent ruby amber with a smaller bubbly head. Aroma of melon, sweet malts, Bazooka Joe gum some some coconut. Flavor of the same yet kind of yeasty.

Bottle. This is the second beer I’ve had from Island and the second one with an obvious infection problem that left it undrinklable. There is something definately wrong with their sanitation. Ruby-mahongony color with a HUGE beige head. Slightly sour aroma over malt and fruit. Sour flavor. Undrinkable. Drainpour. I won’t be buying any more of their beers after this.
