Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma: hops, citrus, fruit. Flavor: citrus, grain, grape, orange peel, grass. The bitterness is too harsh and one dimensional.

Islay Brewery, Scotland. Bottled, 260708. Amber with a very nice lasting white head. Aroma complex of fruit, citrus and toffee. Flavor with a nice balance of malty sweetness and a grapefruit sourness. Medium bitter. Best pint I had in Scotland!

Bottle conditioned, 50cl, from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Amber with a thick white head; fruity apricot aroma; slightly sour grapefruit flavour to start, rather like a kriek, then an explosion of intense chewy bitterness leaving a dry finish. Excellent.

Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This has a nice bite to it, good fruitiness, some soft slightly sour apricot. Poured hazy amber in colour with a tiny white head and film of thin white bubbles, quite refreshing on a summers day.

Bottle. Cloudy bronze beer with a reasonably strong head. The aroma is slightly toffee, the flavour is very, very dry and bitter with a floral and sweet finish. Overall quite a strange beer.

Bottle. Lightly hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are swet hay and marmalade with bitter pine hops. Quite clean and hoppy. Flavours are initially sweet citrus followed by resinous grapefruit and good bitterness. Some acidicy also which is quite addictive. A good refreshing beer.
