500ml bottle, dark brown color, with a creamy beige head, leaving laces, mild toasted, caramelized malt nose, with a faint roasty, black coffee bean accent, note of toffeeness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet honeyed, roasty, toasted malt character, with a smooth oatmeal, fruity accent of dried raisins, dates, with a subtle smoky, black coffee flavor, with a flowery hop citrusy, grassiness, leading towards a malty, roasty, lingering bitterness finish.

Aug 25, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a ruby beer with a lightly tanned head. The nose is sweet buttery with hint of leaves and honey. Leafy taste. Slightly sour and metallic. Light bodied. Nice lacework. Some roasted malt and grain. A tad watery. Dry finish.

Aug 20, 2008 Got this in my Cropredy swapbox from Craig, aka cgarvieuk, cheers Craig. Pours chesnut brown with off white head. Really quite oaty tasting (picked that up straight away) slight fruity sourness on nose. Very tasty beer, good malts and oats nice soft bitterness, this is a lovely beer.

Taste is medium sweet, coffee, roast, bittersweet chocolate, some cola, earthy, light burnt. Light-medium body, some creaminess, some wateriness.

Aug 8, 2008 Bouteille de 500 ml obtenue via Lubière. Arôme: Odeur de céréales grillées avec une pointe de café et d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est noire avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col beige crémeux avec une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de torréfaction et de chocolat épicés. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture légèrement crémeuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement torréfié. (Rating #1864)
