Sammy (2959), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 2, 2008 Golden colour with a bit of white head. Aroma on the cheesy side. Chewy and malty. Interesting, not too sweet but it is sweet. Smokeless Joes.
Skinnyviking (2394), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear dark amber body. Distinct and powerful oat malt aroma. Pretty sweet and malty flavor with honey notes but not much hops bitterness. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. fonefan (4045), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180508) chimp_lechamp (324), glasgow, Scotland Jun 30, 2008 Bottle from the sconser lodge on skye, pours gold, crystal clear almost lager like in appearance, head that dissapears nearly completely leaving little islands of foam. nose is floral with hints of corriander. taste is really light with a fizzy mouthfeel. Some spiciness bitter hop finish and a touch of honeyed sweetness. ekstedt (1731), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 22, 2008 Bottle (50 cl ) from Systembolaget. Deep clear golden with medium white head. Fruity malt aroma with notes of peaches and herbal hops. Light in body with soft carbonation. Nicely balanced with a long moderate bitterness, but unfortunately also a metallic touch. liinis (351), Finland Jun 20, 2008 clear copper, medium white head. smells like english hops and thats the only positive thing to say. mouthfeel dry and stingy carbonation reminds me of Samarin "medicin". sour and tart. watery and eukalyptus aftertaste. reminds me too much of the mass production lagers like koff or Baltika1 and so on.
