Flaske 0,5 l. Gave fra Rune. Takker. Lys gylden på farge. Litt uklart. OK kremaktig skum. Sterk fruktig aroma. Syrlig fruktig smak: Rosiner og svisker. Litt uvariert smaksbilde. Litt vassen. Forsiktig bitterhet langt uti ettersmaken.

Medium white head. Deep yellow body. Fruity strawberry aroma with strawy notes. Dry dusty fruity taste with chalky notes. Hollow body. Dusty mouthfeel. Light palate. Very little taste, really. Dry fruity papery aftertaste. Not a success. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

A very hazy amber ale with a thin lacing white head. A rather grainy malt with light damp basement, mineral. In mouth, a rather light fruity ale with very grainy character, and light raspberry notes, and some light butterscotch. Not bad. LCBO private import, BB Oct. 2009.

Small white head over copper-coloured, clear beer, well-carbonated. Faint garden herbs, then quite some caramel, and something vaguely smelling of frying oil. Faint sweet-dull malty main taste, followed by quite expressly hop-bitter flavour, starting retrolingual and long-lasting into the aftertaste. Not very noble hops, IMO. Very light body, well-carbonated. Nothing in the whole package that gives me a link to what I usually get from oats in stout or porter. And nothing distinctive, neither.

Bottle@Øl&Mat 09, Oslo. Low white head. Hazy, copper body. Aroma is toffee and faint fruit, banana actually. Dryish-sweet malt body. Lemony notes. Fine, discreet bitterness. Light to medium body. Soft in the mouth. Mild bitterness in the finish. Moreish and elegant.

500ml bottle. A light tan brown colour. High carbonation (but it’s a bottle so big surprise). Smells of carbonation. ...so I decanted it. It then tasted of sharp toffee apple. It was okay.

31.12.08: Porridge oat ale. Very hazy, and not a top pick. Bought in Aarhus Summer 08.
