500 ml bottle. Dark rerddish brown colour, thick off-white head. Slightly roasted malty aroma with dark fruits. Mild flavour of roasted malts, a little sweet, not much hoppiness to speak of. Light-bodied and a bit watery.

Bottle (in NZ), pours a clear brown with a large rocky off-white head. A malty aroma, slightly buttery and flowery. A good consistent bitterness through the swallow, the malt is lightly roasted with a light grassiness coming through from the hops. A good solid bitter.

Bottled 50cl. It pours a dark amber beer with a foamy off white head. The nose is of raisins, cream, hemp and fudge. Lightly smoky. Sweet malty taste with a low bitterness. Watery. Slightly acidic and salty. Some smokiness coming through. Light bodied. Poor lacework. Unpleasant sweet metallic finish with a hint of raisins. Not worth purchasing again.

500 ml bottle. Deep, reddish-brown color, off-white head. Fairly high carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, yet somehow watery. Hoppy flavor with a bitter finish.
