Dry, somewhat earthen taste to it. Decent bitter, easy to drink. Not the most complex but enjoyable session ale.

22nd June 2008. Clear brown beer. Pretty plain mild malt - almost non existent hops. A plain Jane of a beer.

Big pale brown lasting head. Brown-red body with light carbonation. Fruity dusty aroma with chocolatey notes. Dry roasty fruity taste with chocolatey notes. Faint, faint vinegar-like traces, too. Light body. Faintly watery mouthfeel. Dry fruity earthy dusty aftertaste with wooden notes. Quite good, but not entirely successful. A bit hollow and vinegary, for whatever reason. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

A clear dark amber to brown ale with a thick frothy light moka head. A nutty malt in aroma, with light fruity esters. In mouth, a light ale with nutty malts, lots of caramel, some woody notes, not a lot of hops, overall, quite simple and uninteresting. BB OCt. 2009. LCBO Roland and Russell Private import.

0.5L bottle from Ica Middelthon, Stavanger. Dark amber colored, reddish hued, with a big-bubbled, fingerthick beige head head on top. Aroma of tinned dark fruits with an acidic touch, and some slight nutty malts. Fruits and malt in the flavor. Fairly dry, moderately hopped. Clean mouthfeel. Light-bodied. Dry, acidic-fruity ending. Good drinkability for a quite unusual Bitter.

500ml bottle. A copper bitter. The expected sweetish fruity malt was to be found. Quite drinkable.
