Italian Oasis Bee Sting

Pours hazy copper with a white head. Smells of citrus, sweet, some clove. Tastes slightly tarte with a peppery finish.

My Bottom Line:
Clovey weizen yeast and honeyed sweetness evaluate the doughy cereals in this slick-bodied Honey Wheat Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam sits collapses into the dark, murky beige. This was served with a lemon wedge on the edge of the glass even though I didn’t ask for it. Probably killed the head too.
-The feeble carbonation provide a strange mouthfeel for the style.
-Light hop bitterness seals every sip, increasing drinkability.
-This could have come together (which I find rare in these Honey Wheat beers), but the mouthfeel was again too disappointing to make this a wholly satisfying brew.
