Oct 2, 2007 Updated: Aug 11, 2008There is a ghostly face on the label - one wonders what that is for. I love the sweet floral scent of a good apricot beer. The head sinks fast. There is a mellow, fresh apricot flavor, but it is a little medicinal. The weisse taste comes thru also. This is a nice mix of sour, sweet, floral, and bitter elements, but it is still on the light side. One of the better fruit brews, i.m.h.o.

Sep 25, 2007 I actually really like this fruity apricot wheat beer. Flavor is really quite good, very much like apricots not too sweet or sugary like many can get, and not at all bland, like the other half usually gets. Will definately recommend this a a good chioce.

Sep 9, 2007 sampled at the brewpub. Aroma is nearly all apricot and a touch of sugar. Taste is pretty sweet with apricot flavoring, get some light malts in the background. A bit artificial, and not memorable.

Sep 2, 2007 Aroma was of sweet fruit. Apricot was hard to single out. Pour was a light gold with a 1 finger white head. Taste was semi-sweet with light fruit notes and a light finish. Nice carbonation in this one. Fruit is not over the top in your face, but then it’s not in the foreground either.

Aug 27, 2007 clear pale yellow, fluffy white head. sweet apricot aroma. very dynamic flavor - brown sugar, apricot, wood and a light clean malt. its not a mix of flavors that i typically go for, but they were intriguing. definitely a well crafted fruit beer. underrated imo.

Aug 26, 2007 12oz bottle. slightly hazy, peach colored. Heavy aroma of sweet apricot juice. Flavor of malted wheat, some apricot flavors in the finish, like a dried fruit essence. Medium bodied, light finish.

Aug 21, 2007 Rated while drinking: Pale yellow body with a fluffy white head. Whole-heartedly reeks of apricots. Makes my eyes cross. But it’s quite fragrant. Flavor is identical to the aroma. Apricots, apricots, apricots. It’s like a smoothie. Something weird going on behind the apricots though. It’s not wheat... Not sure. One-dimensional beer and even though the ratings say it, Ithaca’s less than stellar beer offering. When I get variety packs, this beer I hand out to whoever wants. If they made a fruit beer with something different, it might be better. But the apricots gag me. Too much.
