Commercial Description:
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

knew it was a mistake...but wasn’t. the aroma on my bottle (dated march) was really good! apricot and authentic. although that’s fairly easy as apricot pairs well in beer. i like the taste, and it fades nicely. the carbonation is low but it works well. i can’t find where to drop it down to a 2.9 so i won’t!

Pours a slightly hazy copper with mostly diminishing white head that fades to a spotty film. Smells like a womens hair-care product that was meant to smell as authenticly fruity as possible. Tastes like carbonated pedialite. I feel silly drinking it. The appricot comes through much more in the aftertaste than the intial taste, but fades quickly because of it’s thin and watery. I could see myself drinking this on a hot day doing yard-work, but certainly not for my own enjoyment in the comfort of an air-conditioned house. A little weak.

Pours an extremely light color gold colour with little head. First thing that comes to nose the very nice smell of the apricots. Apricots are very hint on the palate and somewhat disappointing.

12oz - The label summarizes exactly what you’ll find here. Apricots on nose, apricots on palate, with wheat sharpness scattered throughout. A hit with the ladies.

This beer is a very clear, sparkling straw color with a small white head that vanishes right away. It smells like dried apricots. It is very light-bodied, crisp and quite carbonated. The flavor seems a bit watered down. It’s mostly of apricot but a funky cardboard aftertaste emerges which ends up having more presence than the main flavor. This isn’t really my thing. Stick to the caskazilla from these guys.

The aroma was of dried fruit or something. Not pleasant. For a fruit beer (which I have enjoyed in the past), this wasn’t sweet and actually was pretty damned sour. The appearance was not appetizing either. Thin head, copper color. I have t drink the rest of it, but only because it is a sin to waste beer.

This is barely drinkable. Admittedly, I am no fan of fruit beers, but ye gods man, what were you thinking. The odor of this brew is indeed that of apricots--if they’ve been left in the sun too long. The flavor lacks any complexity whatsoever, being nothing more than an extremely tart apricot taste, that could use a bit of sweetness or some offsetting hops. Instead, the brewers used a sulphur chaser. Like I said--ye gods man.

Pale orange, very slight haze probably from the wheat (filtered?) - no head to speak of. Aroma of dried light stone fruits like - no joke - dried apricots. Biscuit and prototypical wheat smell apparent. Taste is a mixture of cloying fruit sweetness and slightly raw, unrefined wheat. Slightly bitter finish, watery but redeemingly crisp on the palate. Not my cup of tea...err pint of beer.
