Commercial Description:
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Far too much apricot-ness--it is overpowering in a sickly-sweet sort of way. I doubt I’ll ever try it again.

Although this is not the best beer I’ve had it certaintly isn’t bad, it is interesting because it’s totally different. It’s aroma is just right, with an adequate bouqet of apricot. It’s appearance is rather blah, with a light amber color, and rather tiny head. It’s flavor is more like a carbonated soda, than beer, but it does have that beer charachter. It’s palate is smooth. It’s ok, a nice break up from the serious brews.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of apricot is overbearing. I can hardly bare to inhale this scent. Poured apple juice in color with a medium-sized, fizzy, white head that diminished immediately. Flavor of apricot and butter. Disgusting. Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Butter finish. Absolutely gross. Drain pour.

Had this beer on draft at Mad Mex in Robinson. Nice golden color, good head, Apricot quite prominant, not just a hint as reported by Brewer. A little sweet but it finshes clean and would be a good drink for the purpose.

Light color, lots of apricot on the nose. Not a ton of flavor beyond this on the palate and it seems quite sweet. Pretty much what it says it is.

Pours a sort of fizzy champagne color with no head. Smells more like peaches than apricot. Taste is a nice fizzy light apricot flavor with a mild wheat lemon flavor. A very nice apricot brew.

Delicious aroma and flavor of apricots, without that awful aftertaste some wheat beers tack on. The guy at the bottle shop said that this was the best apricot wheat he had tried, so we took him for it and it’s one of the better ones I’ve had.

Delicious aroma and flavor of apricots. Wonderful for a refreshing pick-me-up. The guy at the bottle shop said that this was the best apricot wheat he had tried (which has been a lot, for what there is), and I would say I can definitely believe that.
