iowaherkeye (1832), Bakersfield, California, USA Nov 7, 2009 Thanks Ken (kmweaver) for sharing! 750mL, batch E!010. Hazy bright yellow gold with a 1 finger effervescent head, fair retention. Lemon and brett up front with some wheat and grapefruit. Flavor adds some lacto sourness (peaks at a 5-6). Wheaty finish, minimal bitterness. Highly carbonated with a light body. Very tasty! Cletus (4999), Connecticut, USA Nov 1, 2009 Pours gold with a white head. Smells funky, acidic, sour. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 21, 2009 Bottle acquired from the Brew house. Batch 2 if I’m not mistaken. Poured into over sized wine glass for lack of snifter. Synthetic yellow plastic cork with little to no pop. Very hazy tangerine murky yellow body with a big fizzy white head thats not too dense and doesn’t leave much in the way of lace. The aroma is very fresh and smooth - citrus, spices, brett, and white wine with oak. Flavor is very nice and well done as well. Nice funk to it, but not overbearing with a god medium dry brett finish. This would be a great training-wheel sour (but that doesn’t detract from its quality). Smooth medium body with a nice tingly effervescence. Overall: worth the hype. Very nice and refreshing. Lubiere (4462), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 18, 2009 A golden ale with a thick frothy off white head. A superb intense aroma of lemon, Brett, epsom salts and organic acids. In mouth, a nice puckering sourness with horseblanket, yogurt cultures, leathery, a bit thin overall but good. 750 ml bottle shared with probstk and Michael, Oct. 7 2009. Bottle bought at Federal Wine and Spirits, Boston, early July 2009. jmm635 (249), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 17, 2009 Cloudy warm golden color with a thin white head. Tons of lemony sour aroma and flavor. Tart, bubbly, pucker-inducing mouthfeel. Extremely enjoyable if this is your type of beer! SuIIy (1405), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Oct 17, 2009 sample at NotF. CLoudy orange pour with a thick foamy white head. Nose is cheesy with some barnyard notes. Palate is fizzy carbonation with a sourness. Flavor is lightly yeasty with a light hop note and sour fruit notes. probstk (1005), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2009 750 ml bottle shared by Lubiere (merci!), served cool in a goblet. Lot E!010.
