Amber body, off white head great lace. and retention Aroma was of big pine notes and some soap and citrus notes, but pine was heavy and great. Flavor had a good hop profile and malts were present and balanced the beer out apporipately. Finish was dry. good ips. dagimp (121), Philly, Pennsylvania, USA

Smells of citrusy hops. Taste is of citrus hops with a tiny bit of pine, but barely noticeable. The hop taste is mildly balanced out by the malt from the red ale but this is certainly one hoppy beer. It reminded me of a Nugget Nectar but not quite as full bodied. The only thing taking away from this beer is its lack of body. I expected it to be a little heavier with some more malt flavor. Otherwise, it’s really very good and worth a shot. I’d drink this again in a second. garthicus (1290), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 5, 2009 Rating #800. Bottle thanks to Blankboy. Dark red with zero visible carbonation and a thick pancake batter coloured head. Aroma: Pineapple and sweet hops, caramel and a little pine and some floral notes too. Flavour: Bitter (yet not too bitter) hops, malt definitely coming through, grapefruit hiding in there also with a nice long dry and sweet finish. Enjoyable. Thanks Paul :-) rds (226), USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Bottle Pours a good reddish amber with a small off white head. The head produces nice lacing. It is a very good looking beer. The first hit of the aroma is of crisp hops. Then the sweetness starts to hit the nose. Has a strong carbination but its good. A nice moutheel. Taste is a nice hoppy bitterness, but not too bitter. Has a good blend and hides the alcohol very well. A light to medium body. Has a good finish. It not the strongest IPA but its good. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Very nice dark reddish brown hue to this one. Big time hop aroma, huge, and floral and kinda wet, but not citrus. Very smooth rounded bitterness, not nearly as bitter as I though it would be after getting a hint of the aroma. Solid red ipa. Good for session drinking. nbutler11 (760), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Bonus bottle courtesy of blipp. Pours a deep amber color with mild carbonation and a trim beige head. Smells and tastes of crisp hops, caramel, aromatic citrus blossom, and faint notes of red grapes and apples. Drys slightly on the finish, but a fine beer that I would regularly drink if I could. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
