Nov 28, 2009 Bottle. Ruby brown with a thin off white head. Sweet plummy aroma with some spices and toffee. The flavor has some malty sweetness, fruit, a light nuttiness, and some saison-esque spices. Pretty good.

Nov 28, 2009 Appearance: Pours a dark brown with an off white pin stripe for head.
Aroma: Candi sugar, banana, bubble gum and cloves.
Taste: Banana, bready malt, cloves, spicy yeast and spicy hops.
Mouthfeel: Thick and slightly fizzy.
Overall: A very nice, balanced Belgian Ale. I could see the Winter/Holiday theme going on in this beer. Would go great with a piece of pumpkin pie for sure.

Nov 25, 2009 This beer was good, but made no distinct impression on me. Dark brown, and tan head. Arouma is wood spices. Taste is sweet caramel sugars and roast, dark fruits. Finishes with mild hops.

Nov 24, 2009 This is phenomenal. Not sure what I love about it, but it is superb. I think it balances different styles very well....I know it’s listed as a saison but it isn’t really saison-y. Smells like a dubbel-ish....foamy khaki head and a dark brown pour. Dark fruits in the taste....it has an almost porter deepness to the taste. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy but surprisingly crisp. I could drink a ton of these.

Nov 23, 2009 Growler from Big Z beverage in Huntington LI. Pours a translucent nut brown with a clumpy tan head. Very fruity aroma, plums, apples, pears, flowers, bananas, typical Belgian yeast. Flavor was malty, fruity, tropical fruits, candy sugar. Medium bodied, a little sticky.
