Flavor quite oily-citrusy with pollen, nectar, lots of lemon cake malt. Quite tasty overall, could go up on a rerate, just didn’t knock me out, was more a sum of its parts that snuck up on me. Pours a lighter amber color with a nice white head. Honeycomb and hops hit the nose strong. Notes of yeasts, citrus, and sweet malts are rather strong. The flavor brings out the honey and finishes with a bitter sweet bite. I was pretty impressed with this beer. RCL (1478), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
