750ml bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and cloudy golden-orange color witha small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral hops, caramel, and lighter honey. Tastes of citrus, lighter floralness, pine, some honey, and caramel. Light alcohol in the finish, but overall well hidden.

Tap at Barcade. Hazy golden-orange beer. The aroma is lightly hoppy. Sort of a light sweet orange and a bit of piny hoppiness as well. The flavour is lightly hoppy with a bit of sweet honey and some fairly unusual orangey cascadey type hops... there’s a bit of vegetal/herbal character in addition to the orange citrus that is a bit more typical. It’s a bit thin. Meh.

Bottle sample at NATIFEST ’09. Poured a cloudy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate resin and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spicy bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

A milky golden IPA with a thin white head. A pleasant mix of hops, floral and pungeant, and wild honey, clover, and grassy notes. In mouth, a very smooth imperial IPA, with lingering herbal bitterness, good citrusy hops attack, not overwhelmig, light honey notes and warming alcohol. Cask at Syracuse Real Ale Festival, Oct. 23 2009.

Poured a murky orange color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral hops, citrus, and tropical fruits. Taste of citrus fruits, pine, toffee malts, light toast, honey, grapefruit, some alcohol, and lingering honey in the finish.

750 ml bottle pours a hazy orange with amber and golden notes and a medium foamy and bubby off white head that left lacing. Aroma of mixed citrus, floral notes, pine, light honey, caramel and light bready notes and a touch of alcohol. Flavor of lots of piney notes, floral and grapefruit, a little grassy, bready, dough and a touch of some caramel malt sweetness but overall rather dry. Getting some residual honey notes. Moderate bitterness.
