Commercial Description:
Brewed with vintage local Hops, American Barley, Wheat and Corn, Brute is fermented on Oak for many months with Brettanomyces, then finished with a blend of three Champagne yeasts. Enjoy the turbid citron hue, mature aroma, brash tartness and dry, quenching sparkle.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Miver. Pours a hazy yellow with an off-white head. Lightly tart aroma. Medium body, dry malty accents with a fairly dry and lightly tart finish. Not really convincing. 010509

From bottle, Papsoes blindtasting #26. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Vanilla and powdery aroma, light yeasty, citric and wheaty too. Citric and orange fruity flavoured. High carbonation mouthfeel. Light citric and dry finish. A bit too simplistic.

Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, white white head. Aroma is fruity acidic, yeasty, barnyard, peach - apricot sour. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090501]

(Draught) Pours cloudy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of herbal, floral, herbal, sour citrus, and some smoke fumes from fireworks as it warms to room temperature. Flavor of subtle sour citrus and earthiness with a dry oak finish.
