Apr 11, 2009 I thought this was a mediocre IPA. It was a little watery but i was also drinking other heavily hopped beers and that may have caused the disturbance.

Apr 9, 2009 Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit, light pine and caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Some bitterness. Grapefruit, pine, and caramel lingers.

Pours a medium copper color, a bit darker than the usual ipa. Half inch or so of thin light tan head clears quick. Pretty big aromas of pine resin and some light spiciness. Some sweet fruit in the nose as well. Flavor shows more citrus notes mixing in with the sticky pine. Not much sweetness to speak of, and the 8% shows up with a bit of booze warming on the back of the palate. Finishes on the oily side. Toning down the abv on this one would help it out a lot, imo.

Mar 30, 2009 Updated: Dec 11, 2009I think this is a really underrated IPA. Especially at the prices you can get it at in Ithaca! It’s a session IPA, if you can call it that at 8% abv. Lots of grass, some pine, some grapefruit, but not a ton. The malt bill isn’t overly thick, and it’s nicely bittered, but not too bitter. This is a damn fine IPA completely in fitting with the style. Which might be why it’s so underrated.

Mar 25, 2009 Nice and hoppy and juicy hops too. Great on tap. Citrus and piney hops. Malt sweetness helps balance it out but it definitely is hop dominant and biiter too right through the finish and sticks with you for a bit.

Mar 12, 2009 Tap at GL. Pour is a golden amber with 2finger white head. Aromas strong of floral hops, resin, and sweet fruits. Flavor is a hop bomb! Nice citrus, piney, and floral hops. Very easy drinking at 8%. Awesome!

Feb 2, 2009 Bottle an extra in a trade. Pours a golden body with a white head. Citrus pine and light spicy hop resins. A light caramel malt body finishes bitter and slightly cloying.
