Draft at Capone’s. Pours dark straw toward coppery with off-white head. Nose is immense piney hops, tropical fruity citrus, with malt and heavy floral notes. Tastes very floral, very piney hoppy, yeasty estery, a bit dry, with perhaps a bit of a lack of a malt bill, but the florals and the hops and the tangerine/pineapple citrus never let up, and make this one a marvelous brew that never gets hot. I wanted to growler this, but I shot my wad on the new Unibroue offering. IMHO, this one is rated very low for how good it really is. I urge all to give it a second chance.

Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, pine, and light citrus. Taste of caramel malts, piney resin, citrus, and toast, with a moderately bitter finish.

12 oz bottle from Joe, pours a clear dark amber/bronze a a wispy white head. Aroma has an abundance of floral hops and moderately sweet citrus. Taste has a slight sweetness with hints of orange and pineapple, with a malt base, and a mildly bitter hop and pine finish.

12 oz bottle, pours beautiful clear copper. Small head, spotty lacing. Amazing IPA aroma, hoppy as hell, with nice floral aroma. Complex flavor, all of them tasty, though the carbonation leaves much to be desired. Overall, I think this beer deserves a better rating. #1 in NYS is evidence of its quality.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with small off-white head. Aroma of floral, citrus, and herbs. Flavor of hops (floral, herbal, citrus), some candish sweetness qualities, and caramel malt.

Hoping is spot on as is the malt that holds it together. The carb is a little weak and there is a strange soapy mouth feel. Decent head and strong lace.

thick mouthfeel at first sip. Extremely hopy, could be an imperial ipa. Bitterness a little over the top. Grassy hope on palate and nose. Sweet malt undertones. Carbonation could be a little sharper.
