| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Draft at Capone’s. Pours dark straw toward coppery with off-white head. Nose is immense piney hops, tropical fruity citrus, with malt and heavy floral notes. Tastes very floral, very piney hoppy, yeasty estery, a bit dry, with perhaps a bit of a lack of a malt bill, but the florals and the hops and the tangerine/pineapple citrus never let up, and make this one a marvelous brew that never gets hot. I wanted to growler this, but I shot my wad on the new Unibroue offering. IMHO, this one is rated very low for how good it really is. I urge all to give it a second chance. bp (470), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Amazing IPA aroma, hoppy as hell, with nice floral aroma. Complex flavor, all of them tasty, though the carbonation leaves much to be desired. Overall, I think this beer deserves a better rating. #1 in NYS is evidence of its quality. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Hoping is spot on as is the malt that holds it together. The carb is a little weak and there is a strange soapy mouth feel. Decent head and strong lace. BuckeyeSammy (456), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
