Nov 24, 2007 Moderate to strong citrus hop aroma. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head and a little bit of lacing. Bitter hop flavor with hints of malt comming though in the middle and finish. Creamy palate.

Nov 18, 2007 another good showing from Ithaca. Easy drinking mild IPA, good hops body and better hops finish but pale compared to it’s ’red ale’ for hops flavor.

Nov 17, 2007 Draft. Floral scent, I didn’t think I would like it because of the hippy name; however, from the first taste I was extremely impressed. You could taste oranges, spice, and others that I could not identify. Medium caramel color, and definitely on my list of favorites.

Oct 31, 2007 Wow...I can’t believe this rated so low with everyone. Great IPA. This reminds me of the IPAs I liked when I first started enjoying craft beer. I didn’t know stories behind them...I didn’t know any facts about the brewer, I just knew they tasted damn good. Aroma of grass and hops. Pour was a light gold with a nice 2 finger white head. Taste was dry and bitter hoppy. Grassy hops with some citrus aftertones. Very little to no malt. I love these light colored IPAs that focus on hops and don’t try to be too extreme.

Oct 8, 2007 (KSq07, draft) Clear amber body atop off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple/floral. Taste is medium sweet, pineapple/grapefruit, light caramel. Quite bitter, fairly dry finish. Medium body, some resin.

Sep 9, 2007 Rating from both sample at the brewpub and numerous pints from a growler. Lightly hazy light amber in color, medium lasting head. Aroma is alot of floral and citrus hops, orange- the nose is quite potent, hops pretty much cover up any malts. Taste is highly hopped, with alot of citrus and floral character. Light to medium bodied, with a lasting bitterness throughout. It gets a bit watery on the palate, but other than that, this was a very good IPA, definitely above average. With the low ratings on this beer, I am thinking perhaps maybe the bottles don’t hold up too well...

Sep 3, 2007 Bottle and the hop character is subdued compared to Ithaca’s other beers. I was expecting something like Cascazilla and got a more perfumey incense-like brew. I know the label has the 60s look but I swear there is a floral hint of incense in here along with cologne. As far as its an IPA, its pretty textbook with some psychedelic stuff going on.
