| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2007 Rating from both sample at the brewpub and numerous pints from a growler. Lightly hazy light amber in color, medium lasting head. Aroma is alot of floral and citrus hops, orange- the nose is quite potent, hops pretty much cover up any malts. Taste is highly hopped, with alot of citrus and floral character. Light to medium bodied, with a lasting bitterness throughout. It gets a bit watery on the palate, but other than that, this was a very good IPA, definitely above average. With the low ratings on this beer, I am thinking perhaps maybe the bottles don’t hold up too well... JFURYCAT (792), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Bottle and the hop character is subdued compared to Ithaca’s other beers. I was expecting something like Cascazilla and got a more perfumey incense-like brew. I know the label has the 60s look but I swear there is a floral hint of incense in here along with cologne. As far as its an IPA, its pretty textbook with some psychedelic stuff going on. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Pours amber with a weird interesting head. Aroma is light and slighty hoppy. Taste is very sweet and drinkable with a crisp hoppy tasty. Damn smooth, nice. McGarnigle (318), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Updated: Aug 14, 2007Bottle from summer 12-pack. Pours goldenrod color with decent head. The aroma is very prominent and citrusy. The taste follows up with grapefruit and a bit floral. I could feel some of the alcohol warmth, although I wouldn’t of guessed this was 7%. Body is medium-to-light. I think this is the best of the four from the summer pack (Pils, Apricot Wheat and Partly Sunny being the others.) TomDecapolis (3214), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2007 On tap at Ithaca Beer Company. Pours a translucent orange amber with med white creamy lacing head. Aroma of a ton of fresh hops, orange, floral, caramel candy sweetness. Nice balance in aroma. Lots of hop flavor with decent hop bitterness and caramel. A little thin. emobassfoo (178), Webster, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Notes: Golden straw colored with a creamy white head. Sweet floral aroma; mainly hops but not too overwhelming. Taste is overridden by bitterness of hops but there’s some flowers/fruits hidden near the end. Palate is nice: dry and bitter while being smooth at the end. Compared to my last tasting of this beer, it now seems much better. It’s much more filling and less watery than I remember. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Bottle- Pours dark orangey amber into the pint glass. Head is frothy and thick, leaving nice lacing. The aroma seems to be mainly cascade, with some pine and heavy floral notes. Theres some mild citrus, and a strange, almost soapy aroma. The flavour is west coast hops. Lots of citrus and mounds of orange peel with a good malt base. FInishes a little thin for the weight, but still good.
