12oz bottle thanks to mikereaser (BA). Pours a cloudy, golden color with a big, fluffy off-white head. Nice lacing. Nose is of citrus and floral hops. Taste is big on the floral hops and citrus, but nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is bitter, to a degree, but not overpowering. Very drinkable. underrated on this site.

RnH: cask: Pours a very dark amber, no head from cask. Wow, talk about nose! Very intense hops, hardcore sweaty oily hops, but also some light sugars. Suprisingly nice esters coming through despite the lighter body. Again, all hops, all the time. ***had in bottle: still a great brew, the carbonation helped open the nose and brighten the flavor***

12oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazed golden orange with a fluffy off white head that left some nice lacing on the tulip. Nose of fresh citrus and a spring garden (sorry, that was a little gay). Flavor is nice and crisp, the 8% is very well hidden.

Bottle. This pours hazy and metallic orange-yellow with a solid, full head of foam. The aroma rivals a glass of fresh squeeze grapefruit, and the first quaff doesn’t disappoint. Full-on citric fruitiness here, sucking the moisture right out of my cheeks. Solid. (#3676, 9/19/2009)

Bottle. Aroma of pine needles, grapefruit, hops, potpourri, cracker malt behind. Flavor quite bitter and piny again, more and more piny and needly on the finish, a touch harsh after time though. Though not bone dry, drier than expected for the average 8% IPA, a plus in my book. Pretty tasty stuff, really not sure why this one does a lot poorer on here than many IPA’s of seemingly similar quality and nature.

THIS BREW SMELLS SO GOOD I WISH IT WAS IN SOLID FORM SO I COULD EAT IT. TASTE LIKE SUGAR TOPPED CARMELIZED GRAPEFRUITS , APRICOTS AND A HEALTHY PORTION OF BITTER HOPS.

12 oz bottle from Capones. Pours a thick mostly clear orange body underneath an average to slightly large white frothy head. Ok once again I am picking up a good amount of soapiness in the aroma, it must be something I am sensitive too since I hardly ever see anyone else noticing this. Besides that I am getting lots of citrus rind, caramel, grains, bread, floral hops and a slight touch of sweetness. The body is fuller and creamy with stronger carbonation and a good bitter bite in the end. The flavor has no trace of the soapiness I was detecting in the aroma and therefore so much more enjoyable. Notes grapefruit rinds, citrus fruits, dry bread, floral notes, and more grains. This one is well done and much better then the 3.42 score that it is rated at.
