a nice bright sweet and clean brew that is ripe with grapefruit. strong and chalky in tastes of grapefruit...did i say that already? nice abv is hardly noticeable and gets a point for that. surprisingly above average and straight in your face. malt seems more herbal and goes along nice with the flavor package. a treat!

On tap at the Beer Engine. Pours clear darker golden color with off white head. Aroma is pine hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is pine hop with a subtle sweet caramel malt flavor. Finishes dry astringent hop character. Nice brew. Really hoppy.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of resiny hops, citrus, grassy and sweaty hops, and iced tea notes. Flavor is rather malty and sweet upfront with resiny hops in the finish. Very similar to Weyerbacher Double Simcoe actually. Some astringency in the palate. Decent IPA. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

RIDICULOUS hop aroma! Tons of citrus, herbs and flowers. Flavor is dry with tons of hop character as well.

draft. A nice amber body with a white head. A real profound floral note to it in both aroma and flavor.Itwasunlike any ipa i have ever had. Hops were very aggresive in both the floral note and bitter note. Some caramel malts but not enough to balance out the floral notes. Still a nice beer, and certainly not a session ale.

pours clear amber with small white head. aroma is floral and a little citrus with no real malt coming through. drinks smooth and citrus with a floral presence enveloping the whole drink. very well balanced with a light malt to keep the hops in check. all around very nice

Tap @ Cambridge Commons... Poured clear amberish-orange with a white head. Floral, herbal hops on the nose with a touch of malted grains and sugars. Smooth, mildly carbonated palate. Awesome floral hop flavors up front with an insanely well-balanced malt character. The hops and malted grains each countered each other nicely while emphasizing the hops well.

Received this in a trade from LUM. Thanks! Pours a deep amber color with minimal head. Just enough you know its carbonated. The nose - pine, slight grapefruit, maple syrup??? The mouthfeel - nice its very citrusy upfront which smoothes out to a nice hoppy bitter back end. this is a nice IPA which is very drinkable. BTW I get some maltiness in there also on the backend. I would certainly buy this beer if I came across it in my travels. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-06-2008 00:13:04 --
