Oct 8, 2007 (KSq07, draft) Clear amber body atop off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple/floral. Taste is medium sweet, pineapple/grapefruit, light caramel. Quite bitter, fairly dry finish. Medium body, some resin.

Sep 25, 2005 Bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a deep, see through orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, somewhat fruity with some malts lurking in the background. Tastes of caramel and light citrus. Malty sweet with not much of a hoppy bitterness to it. Did not taste like an IPA, but drinkable.

Jan 26, 2009 Draft… Clear, deep gold ale with a creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention. Floral, earthy aromas of pine, dried flowers, grapefruit and toffee. Medium to full-bodied and a touch oily with feather-light carbonation. Hefty, toffee sweetness compliments earthy, piney bitterness. Lengthy bitter, dry finish.

Aug 26, 2008 (Draught) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with small off-white head. Aroma of floral, citrus, and herbs. Flavor of hops (floral, herbal, citrus), some candish sweetness qualities, and caramel malt.

Jan 25, 2009 Pours a transparent dark golden bronze with a well-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and fresh grapefruity hops. Starts with good fullness and sweet caramely malt well-balanced with assertive resiny bittering hops before a crisp, bittersweet finish. An enjoyable and true to style brew.

Jan 3, 2008 Tap at Ginger Man. Light golden beer with a thin white head. Massive fresh hoppy aroma. Pungent and very floral. Lavender and violet with a strong grapefruity tangerine fruitiness, mango and pineapple. Fruity and very juicy lemon citrus over a pale malt base. Light honeyish sweetness. Bright hop flavour, very fresh, and very tasty. Given the ratings, I’m surprised that this doesn’t have better ratings. A very tasty, sticky, fruity IPA.
