Apparently they are bottling this now because that’s what I had. Terrific bitterness and very refreshing. This and the MIddle Ages Impaled Ale represent New York very well. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA

A blend of succulent fruits and hoppy goodness in the body, with moderate finishing bitterness. Hides the alcohol beautifully. Outstanding. I cannot understand the low average here. westlake99 (2), Auburn, New York, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 14, 2002 Truly one of the best Tasting IPA’s around! The aroma rivals a glass of fresh squeeze grapefruit, and the first quaff doesn’t disappoint. Full-on citric fruitiness here, sucking the moisture right out of my cheeks. Solid. Great taste, and bitterness. A wonderful example of the style, and I came away surprised at the score. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Clear copper with lasting head and lotsa lace. Very nice fresh wet hop aroma. Slight honey sweetness with ripe apricot fruitiness and well balanced assertive hop flavor and bitterness. Medium body and carbo. Reasonably complex, balanced, and chock full of excellent flavors. I can’t understand the low ratings. bonvivant (164), Smithfield, Virginia, USA
