bottle at the eli at a meet the brewer event in state college pa. pours gold in color with a white head. smell is flowery and sour. Taste is exactly how it smells. A nice clean taste very easy to drink and very refreshing.

Nov 26, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a light to just-short-of-medium amber color, with a frothy white head. The nose brings very strong character of citrusy west coast hops. The palate is definitely hop-forward, bringing a strong bitterness on the front end, a mix of pleasing but hard to nail down malt character and hop flavor (Simcoe?) in the mid-palate, and a nice semi-dry semi-estery finish that lasts several minutes. The drinkability of the beer belies its high abv. Overall, very nicely crafted. A well-kept secret from Ithaca.

Nov 25, 2009 On tap at Cambridge Common, Cambridge MA, October 2009. Hazy amber. Big grapefruit hop hit on the nose. Even more on the palate. Pine & resin too. Lightish mouthfeel. Lingering tart bitterness. Good.

Nov 21, 2009 Bottle. 12 oz. Pours yellow/orange hazy with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, hops, wheat, grapefruit, and hints of lavender. Medium bodied with a curious, soft, inviting mouthfeel. Tangy, tart, yet smooth finish. Good IPA.

Nov 16, 2009 on tap @ GIBF, this brewer needs to get out into the world and let more people know about them because this was a great IPA! one of the better east coast IPA’s that Ive had that doesnt try to do a mix between english and west coast IPA’s, great job

Nov 10, 2009 This beer pours a hazy golden color. It has a hoppy aroma and flavor, but is nicely balanced. It went very well w/ the Thai food I’m having.

Oct 10, 2009 A very good ipa. Pours a light orange with a forceful aroma of fruity hops. Flavor is a smooth malty beginning that concludes in a fruity and bitter hop presence that creates a very drinkable, refreshing and tasty ipa. I really enjoy this beer, and I could drink them all nite long.
