Commercial Description:
A Continental Breakfast Lager brewed with European Malt, Hops, and locally roasted Gimme! Coffee. It is fermented with a German lager yeast and then, just before bottling, freshly pulled espresso shots are added at an alarming rate. Enjoy the deep, dark color, intense aroma, assertive flavors of mocha and toast, and brisk but smooth finish.

Poured a dark black and tasted like chocolate and coffewith some hops mixed in. It seemed to me to be more of a stout than a double bock. I expected the caffeine in the espresso to keep me awake, however I didn’t notice that it was present. This was a very nice beer that my son shared with me. I would definately try this again (if he buys it!)

Courtesy of Drink4satan! Pours a rich murky dark brown color with a small tan head. Nose of pungent lactid acid, cream, heavily deep roasted malts, of coffee / expresso richness. Initial taste of black coffee or expresso comparability. Moving into a creamy mid palate. FInishing with a heavily roasted malts and dark chocolate bitterness. Medium body. Great palate duration. Dry finish. Sticky lips and mouthfeel. Absolutely delicous and very drinkable.

750 ml bottle from Matthew. Pours a very dark brown color with amber highlights and a medium khaki head. The aroma is big with dark chocolate, coffee and a bit of smoked malts. The flavor is straightforward with mocha, a touch of cola and abundant dark biter chocolate. The mouthfeel is smooth and malty. The finish is medium in duration with more linger coffee. Overall: This beer really appealed to me. I love it. Thanks Matthew.

Sweet aroma of caramel and chestnuts. Brown amber in color with a quickly disappearing head. Nice semi-sweet toffee flavor with roast chocolate and coffee. Some butterscotch. This is a great beer - definitely a proud moment for Ithaca and one of the better lagers I have had in awhile.

Wow. This was really dark and coffee like. I enjoyed this. Very smooth and delicious. Hard to describe, but this is a beer that, if it was cheaper, I would go back to again and again. Warm and delish.
