Commercial Description:
The rich mahogany hue of the Nut Brown is the first thing you will notice about this complex, malty brew. A delicate blend of chocolate malt, caramel malt, and four other malts brings to this beer a chocolatey sweetness, and hints of coffee. The malt character is subtly balanced with Northdown and Fuggles hops.

Coffee brown with small tan head. Aromas are of malts and maple syrup. The flavors include those of toasted nuts, dark brown sugar, and coffee. Medium intensity carbonation keeps the texture smooth and crisp. The ending comes a bit too soon and is dryly bitter. While drinking this brew I was thinking that it wanted to be a porter, but was stuck in the body of an ale. For some, this may be a good thing however.
