Dry and crisp. The acl. is a little low but flavor is real nice. Had this in a variety pack. Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: Poured with very large foamy cream tanned top , amber finely hazed brew.3+ Nose : Clear , crisp aromatic hops , clean citric zesty fruits with light caramel base and touch of peper.7+ Flavor/Palate : Full bodied with oily texture, hops in full swing , bitter end. Soft warmth and finish that is lacking a bit of refinement but it could be just me being picky.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Rather uneventful, if entirely solid, pale ale. Orange-amber, off-white head quickly fades. Caramel malts predominant, sweetness balances very well with a subdued hop presence in floral, grassy, very slight citrus. Moderate mouthfeel, high carbonation. Slightly fruity and sweet on the tongue, hops come in later and leave a moderate bitter aftertaste. Ok, but Ithaca does much better. blipp (1730), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Hoppy aroma, rather floral with some nice caramel malt as well. Medium body. It has a very good balance of malt and hops, but overall the flavor is pretty mild. Not bad but I was looking for just a bit more. Brewbie (230), New York, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 10, 2007 Pale, golden, dull appearance. Dusty apple and banana, mold, and wet wood on the nose; quite metallic, tinny, and somewhat pungent. Flavor is mostly sweet creamed corn and a slight touch of diacetyl; bits of more palateable sweetness in almonds and vanilla yogurt. When it’s a bit colder the doughy malt presence seems firmer, while spicy hop shades and a bit of pear juice linger a little; there’s a lot cold fruitiness that suggests something lagered, and this is supported by the the somewhat grassy and german character of the bitterness. Warmth unceremoniously reveals the flaws which are just glaringly obvious at that point. Thin to medium bodied in the mouth and mildly undercarbonated. Dry lemonade sweetness and aceteldahyde finishes briskly. Quite simple, and not horrid considering the many problems it has.
