Slipstream (301), USA Jul 7, 2008 The aroma is orange, apple cider, and wheat. Cloudy orange pour. This is a hoppy wheat ale with light spices and a Belgian influence. Mostly mellow and dry. I tried this on tap in the Ithaca area and in a bottle. Nice. bigrond (844), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2008 I was very unimpressed with this beer. It poured an anemic yellow then took on a more natural hue in the glass. Flavor was bland. Finish was forgettable. I’ll pass on this one next time. roder_60 (788), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 22, 2008 Did not think this was a Belgian white when I had it - much more like a summer premium lager. Appearance is clear gold with fizzy white head. Aroma a bit of lemon and wheat but weak. Flavor is plain malt, slightly sweet with a bit of lemon. Overall, mediocre but refreshing. SpudClampDawg (888), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jun 14, 2008 12oz bottle: Sunny yellow pour with a nice, creamy head. The pour certainly fits the part. The aroma seems a bit hard to pull out. Slightly wheaty, the nose also offers a hint of sweet orange and citrusy hops. The body is almost tart from the start, opening up the flavors. I detected a lot of candied orange, sugary vanilla and coriander. This was very refreshing, but the body seemed muddled as I drank more and more of the glass. Just OK. cheapdark (1507), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 On tap at the Bocktown, nice place! Slightly hazy pale yellow. Tea froth head. Smells like mild wheat . Hits of grass an hay on the tongue, also a bit tart. Friendly and easy to get along with. Many of the attributes of a good lager. Some bitterness barely detectable. Well behaved finish with some mild hints of vanilla. Nice session brew. Very enjoyable.
