Commercial Description:
An Ithaca-style interpretation of the classic Belgian Wit bier, this unfiltered ale has a unique spicy flavor and dry finish, making it light and refreshing. Pilsen malt and four varieties of wheat create the yellow color, white foamy head, and signature cloudiness of a wit beer. 5.3% abv.

Deep yellow-gold beer. Very, very cloudy with a thick white head. The aroma is loaded with coriander. Quite vegetal and fairly citrusy. It’s got a touch of wheatiness. Thin bodied and not very tart. It’s really not good at all. Fairly light, and mostly crappy.

Pours a clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat, and lemon. Taste of wheat and lemon with a coriander closing. Not bad for this style.

Tap. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head. Sweet grainy, hints of coriander and lemon grass. Nothing special.

Tap at RnH. Dry, super grainy aroma, watery and skunky. Mushy, gritty grains dominate the flavor, with leftover wort and yeast slurry tastes. Not pleasant. A big, muddy mess.

Tap at Barcade: Cloudy golden with consistent white film. Pleasant spicy aroma with notes of coriander and American hop citrus subtleties. Light & crisp feel. Minerally with some spicy notes- mild coriander presence yet it also has a bit of bitter earthiness. A decent example.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium spicy citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet spice flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting refreshing brew.

Cloudy straw color. Modest head, particularly for a wheat. No lace. Smells like sour cream and confectioner sugar. Light spice in the background. Flavors of coriander, soured milk, yeast and wheat. Smooth start to the body, but the high level of carbonation brings out some of the more bitter qualities of this brew. Slightly citrusy.
