Commercial Description:
An Ithaca-style interpretation of the classic Belgian Wit bier, this unfiltered ale has a unique spicy flavor and dry finish, making it light and refreshing. Pilsen malt and four varieties of wheat create the yellow color, white foamy head, and signature cloudiness of a wit beer. 5.3% abv.

Draught at Ithaca BC in NY. Pale yellow, white head. Aroma of light spice and citrus, flavor similar, medicinal finish, fruity flavors, but weak on the yeast.

Poured from bottle. Citrus/wheat in aroma. Cloudy light gold, minuscule head. Wheat and floral notes in flavor. I taste a dash of hops along with the spice.

Bottle from Joshua and Buck in Ithaca, NY--Poured a dull hazy golden hue with a medium white head. Grassy, biscuity, with chewy wheat notes. Sharp citrus bite near finish. Otherwise, pretty dull.

Bottle, best by 10/08. Quite luxuriously cloudy. Huge citrus aroma, very natural citrus, not at all chemical, relaxed earthy spices. Flavor sweetly citrusy, same spice presence, a bit sharper and stronger at the finish. Sharp but not overbearing carbonation allows for both yeast creaminess and dry crispness. Very nice, a bit underrated I’d say.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a nice white head. Aroma of light fruits (some tropical fruits and citrus/lemon), only faint spices. Flavor is light and fruity, some wheat. I like this a lot; light, crisp fruit with a decent malt backbone. Why does this get such poor ratings? Very enjoyable for me.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Didnt really care for this. Summery yellow wit type beer. Looks the part. Aroma s of citrus, wheat & some sweetness. Taste seemed a bit sloppy to me for a wit. Too sweet. Average

Bottle. Pours dirty hazy golden orange, very thin white head. Aroma is malt, spices, citrus, some slight tangy funk. Flavor is the same with a very wheaty finish. I can’t say that I like the genre, but this beer isn’t bad.
