Commercial Description:
An Ithaca-style interpretation of the classic Belgian Wit bier, this unfiltered ale has a unique spicy flavor and dry finish, making it light and refreshing. Pilsen malt and four varieties of wheat create the yellow color, white foamy head, and signature cloudiness of a wit beer. 5.3% abv.

Pours a clouded straw gold that has a nice white head that falls quickly. Nose is citrus and a bit of lemongrass as well. The scents are there, but not powerful or overly strong. Gives a rather smooth and calm fragrance. Flavor is thick with wheat and has a few good dashes of light citrus flavors. Not overly strong or complex though. Feel is nice and smooth on the liquid with small bubbles of carbonation hitting the tongue. Overall very drinkable. A smooth and calm witbier that is definitely worth trying. Nice job Ithaca!

Pours hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, and coriander. Flavor is tart and spicy, with lemon and nutmeg, along with a faint musty quality. Not overly fizzy like some wits.

12oz bottle thanks to Tom. Bottle notched best before O (for October). Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat up front with some citrus and spices in the background. Tastes of wheat, citrus, yeast, and spices.

Bottle pours a cloudy/milky golden yellow with a medium bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of tart wheat, orange peel, corriander, Belgian Wit yeast, kind of candy sugary sweetness and a nice citrus profile. Flavors were a mix of the same. Nice wheat presence...lemony. Hints of bitterness and dry. On the spicy side but I enjoy my Wit’s a good bit spicy.

Parly Sunny is a hazy yellow ale with no real head except for a white ring. The aroma is banana, clove, citrus... probably lemon. In the mouth, it’s lively, watery and crisp. It’s lightly bitter, maybe herbal. It’s not sweet and reminds me of eating wheaties. It’s slightly tart. It’s a summer ale.

Notes: Light yellow body with a fluffy white head. Spices, coriander, almost vanilla-like aroma; pretty appealing scent. Butter-like taste with a few spices; vanilla flavor popped back in. Not bad really. Smooth with a touch of dryness; slips down the throat. A little bit of a twist on a witbier, and pretty refreshing.

Bought as part of a summer 12-pack. Sort of an apple juice yellow color, though foggy, and the head didn’t last. Medium body and not over-fizzy. Taste was a bit fruity, but really not too sweet, which is okay. It supposedly contains coriander, ginger, nutmeg, and mace . I don’t know if I got all that. The finish seemed a little off as well, but still a pretty good beer overall .
