poisoneddwarf (153), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA Sep 8, 2009 12 oz bottle. Smells good, tastes like a slightyly above average pilsener. Very easy drinkability. If you’re into chugging beer and don’t want a macro, this is the beer for you. Tmoney99 (4655), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 2, 2009 Bottle from Belmont Party.
Poured clear amber color with a large white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Good drinkable brew.
shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2009 7/22/2009: Ithaca Pils pours a hazy straw color with a fluffy white head. The light aroma is grassy and Noble. I like the bite in the flavor. There are plenty of crisp, grassy and peppery hops. The middle is a little soapy and floral, but other than that this is a pretty solid Pils with a good lingering bitterness. It is light, crisp, and refreshing. Not bad at all!
12 fl. oz. bottle (Best Before: July 2009) from Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #47 for this beer.
JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jul 20, 2009 Tap at Barcade. Pale straw-coloured pour. The aroma is pretty nice. Bright zesty hops and a touch of soft floral character. A touch of lemon and a soft minerally hoppiness on the back. Softly sweet as well with a nice balance of crackery malts. Lovely lingering bitterness with a soft spicy herbal hoppiness. It’s really pretty nice. One of the better pilsners I’ve had in awhile. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 19, 2009 Not bad for a pilsner. Pours a cloudy yellow color with no head. Aroma of hops and malts. Good carbonation. Smooth and mild for a pilsner. PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Jul 14, 2009 Tap at Barcade: Light golden pour with a fading white head. Dry crackery aroma with some zesty saaz notes. Nice crisp yet creamy carbonation. The flavor is also dry and with a crackery pils base- very clean with a peppery grassy noble bitterness- seems like tettnang. A very nice pils.
