Commercial Description:
Straw-colored and crystal-clear, this Pilsner brew is our first genuine lager beer. We used a traditional German lager yeast strain, and the classic Saaz, Hallertau and Hersbrucker hop varieties. Original gravity of 12.5 plato, followed by 8 weeks of fermentation and conditioning (compared to 2 weeks for our ales), result in a 5.5% abv. and a remarkably crisp, clean flavor.

Not the best pils in the world but not too bad either, the big downfall is the overdose of hops in the flavors, I like pils to be hoppy but this is a little too much, this had a bright golden color with a huge & bubbly white head, decent lacing left around the glass, this beer doesn’t really offer a whole lot by way of aroma, only a little hint of hops & slight citrus & yeast, fairly light in body, left a stinging feel in my mouth after drinking it, this beer was just a little too abrasive for the style

Real thick white head, gold color. Buttery aroma, a bit floral. Somewhat nutty, gritty palate. Hoppy, like a German style pils. Not bad.

Poured a clear golden color(ok piss like) with a small head that didn’t stay long. Pils!! whats with all the hops in the aroma and flavor. It was not my type of Pils.

Mix of mild fruit and grain malt. Pale golden color with a large white head and medium lacing. Very light throughout the taste. Mild amount of hops in the finish. Light palate.

a good beer, NOT a pilsner in my opinion. In tastes more like an IPA. Expectionally hoppy brew, dosen’t possess the dry crisp finish that I like about a pilsner. But this is the second ’pilsner’ I’ve had that is overhopped (first being Sam adams imperial pilsner)

Thanks to TomDecapolis for this... Appears a transparend gold with a small white head of velvet that slowly fades away. Small traces of CO2 slowly rise to the top. Scattered lacing is left around the glass. Smell is of spicy saaz hops, earthy minerals, pepper, mild grain, and some abrassive husk. Taste is of grainy, spicy hops with light cornbread, cracked peppercorn, and sugar. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, sugary, corn, spice, and grain husks lingering on the palate.

On tap at Ithaca Beer Co. Poured a clear, light gold with a thin white head that faded to a film after a few sips. Very light aroma of grass and a bit of lemon. Flavor was again grass and just a bit of lemon. Crisp, but not dry at the finish. A bit light bodied. A decent pilsener.

12oz bottle thanks to Tom! Bottle notched best before S. Poured a lighter and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains, lightly grassy and some citrus (orange rinds). Tastes of grass and grains. Thinner.
