Commercial Description:
Straw-colored and crystal-clear, this Pilsner brew is our first genuine lager beer. We used a traditional German lager yeast strain, and the classic Saaz, Hallertau and Hersbrucker hop varieties. Original gravity of 12.5 plato, followed by 8 weeks of fermentation and conditioning (compared to 2 weeks for our ales), result in a 5.5% abv. and a remarkably crisp, clean flavor.

12oz bottle thanks to Tom! Bottle notched best before S. Poured a lighter and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains, lightly grassy and some citrus (orange rinds). Tastes of grass and grains. Thinner.

Bottle we sneaked into quinns thanks to Ang. Alround rating: Tasty pale malts, citrus and herbal hop, its actually quite a strange beer, like it seems like a pilsner, but from what its made with i dont really think it is. But its stilly quite tasty stuff.

Tap at Barcade. Pale straw-coloured pour. The aroma is pretty nice. Bright zesty hops and a touch of soft floral character. A touch of lemon and a soft minerally hoppiness on the back. Softly sweet as well with a nice balance of crackery malts. Lovely lingering bitterness with a soft spicy herbal hoppiness. It’s really pretty nice. One of the better pilsners I’ve had in awhile.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured clear amber color with a large white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Pours pale gold with splotchy 2-finger white head. Nose is dry florals, citrus, pale malt, Saazy hops. Tastes citric, hoppy, with pale malt, mild floral, peppery, and orange marmalady hints along the way. Nice.

Poured a golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, citrus fruits, grass, toffee, and light floral notes. Taste of citrus fruits, toasted malts, sweeter toffee, and a medium bitter, hop finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly darker color than expected for a pils- more of a medium to light copper- or a very deep gold. Nice lasting white head. Aroma is toasty malts, light pils, ltos of sweet cara pils and a nice earthy doughy mt hood-like hop character and some continental hops as well. Flavor is also a bit on the sweeter side for a pilsner, ligth doughy malts and some cara pils sweetness, good earthy herbal hops- noble and fresh- also a wierd spicy earhty hop finish which reminds me of eating a vlassic bread and butter pickle. Interesting beer. I kinda like it.

Draft @ Hop Devil Grill. Its got a Rice Krispies aroma, grainy, sweet and doughy. Theres something metalic in the aftertaste that doesnt make you want to go back to the well for more. It was fresh though, so thats good.
