A pretty average beer. Bov (4558), Bienne, Switzerland Jul 4, 2008 courtesy of Per - pours a clear dark amber colour under a little beige foam; decent hoppy nose with notes of citrus, nut and caramel; slightly earthy; a moderate initial sweetness, very malty and tasty, some astringence, a fair bitterness leads to a long malty caramelish and gently spicy finish - a solid beer Joakgust (60), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 16, 2008 50 cl botte - Thick amber colored beer with a small dark head. Aroma is dominated by english malts with some dried grass. Flavor rests heavily on caramel with some hops. Not as good as the X-mas sort. A bit disappointing really.
