Golden pale, no head. Served in a stemmed glass. Big ABV, the bartender warned me. Bring it, I’m excited. Huge aroma of cloves. Hints of white plum. lots of banana flavor, some clove, straw, and a touch of tartness. Duvel clone maybe even a scaldis. Very good. I’m craving a big bowl of mussels to go with it. Finishes with a touch of bubblegum. a very impressive yeast character. Finishes dry.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours brilliant gold with tight but small white head. The aroma is mellow banana, some cookie, light sugar, and some straw. The flavor is slightly tart with some yeasty banana and clove notes. The finish gets a bit grainy. The aftertaste is dry, but subdued by some lingering sweetness. Alcohol comes out as it warms. Not too bad.

draught. Pours. . gold! The aroma has hints of banana, hay, wood, maybe a tiny bit of sourness. The flavor is much sweeter than the aroma would lead me to believe, though it’s certainly not cloying. I get residual funk in the finish with a sweet, fruity bouquet up front. Carbontation is minimal. Honey flavors seem to wash over any sour/acidic notes that perk their head up. Pretty decent brew, certainly enjoyable.

Draft pours a clear straw, with almost no head. Great Banana aroma and the same wierd hop profile as their other beers. Clove, sweet pepper, belgian yeast, and banana flavors. A bit astringent on the finish, and somewhat ’hot’. Not a bad offering.

Draft at Laughing Seed. Light body. Nice overall tripel style taste. Not amazing, but an ok Belgian interpretation. Needs a bit more candy sugar.
