This is a pretty good stout. I feel like green man jumps around a lot in terms of brewing new styles of beer more than other brewerys of its size around Asheville. But their stouts I think are their best beers most consistently. This one is no different. It’s a sweeter version, but smooth as ever.

draught. Pours a solid black with a bit of red tint in the light and a frothy tan head. Aroma is amply roasty, oaty, with toasted nuts and chocolate in the background. This stuff has a great rich flavor: burned brown sugar, heaps of fresh oatmeal, almonds, the syrupy chocolate really comes out in the finish and creates a great balance. wonderful!
