Nutty almond aroma with a caramel tinge. Flavor is nutty at first but then there is a burst of red fruit and hop bitterness at the end. A hint of wood underlying all of it. Decent but not what I would expect from an esb in terms of fruit flavors. Butters (1658), Virginia, USA

Aroma is ’green’, like fresh wood and pistachio. Flavor notes of smoke, toasty, nutty, toffee, and some hop bitterness in the end. Reminds me more of a nut brown than an esb. Interesting. Not bad. argo0 (7027), Washington DC, USA
