Wow! Creamy velvet body, hops, hops, hops, great hop aroma, lots of mild esb hop flavor, but not ’hoppy’, fantastic until the cask was kicked, one of the top 5 casks of all time. Wow!

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Had the carbonated AND cask versions. Both are a clear copper color with off white head that laced the glass. Sprucy hop nose. Flavor is a bit more balanced with the addition of earthy note and light skunky tone. Eh. The cask version smells a bit better with no improvement in the flavor. SledgeJr (2977), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
