Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is fruity, vanilla, slightly grainy, and nice peppery hops. Flavor is vanilla, pilsner malts, some grain, and a bitter peppery finish.

Tap at the pub in Asheville. Not very impressed with this place, although I only tried 2 beers. This was a throwaway, brewed for the people who come in and ask for Bud Light type beer. PASS.

Not good. A little funky tasting and smelling. Some grassy, pilsener like characteristics. Super light and watery. Stale biscuit taste. Lightly sweet finish was not as crisp as I had hoped for. Boring, mild, and strange tasting beer. No aroma at all.

Tap at the brewpub on 2/3/08: Transparent deep golden with a thin covering of wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet and doughy pale malts with a touch of earthy hops. Starts lightly sweet and slightly grainy with a good balance of bitterness toward a crisp, refreshing finish. A drinkable, yet quite flavorful golden.

On tap at Jack of the Wood. Light hoppy beany aroma with some pilsner malt sweetness and carbonic gaseousness. Pale straw clear with thin white head. Light body with medium light carbonation. Not quite crisp but refreshing. Good sweet flavor with little hops though some bitterness in the finish. Sweet smooth after.

On draft at the brewpub as part of a sampler. Pours a clear gold color with a large head. Fair head retention and lacing. Faint aroma of sweet malts. Taste is straw, grassy hops and an odd sour note. Medium bodied.

Draft at the brewery. Very Clear pale straw with ample white head. Pleasont corn and grain husk aroma. Citric, piney hops in flavor, but not overbearing. Could easily see this as a decent session beer.
