opaque yellow, whispy white head, sweet banana aroma, funky horse blanket shows up at first but receedes to the banana, clove comes in late and faint, light malt flavor, touch of sweetness, nice spices and a touch of pepper, nice bitter finish, much more of an imperial hefe?

Tap at the Durham WBF. Hazy gold with a white head. Spicy citrus nose, some floral notes. Fruity flavors, light clove spiciness. Some lemony notes. Alcohol pretty well hidden. Creamy, filling mouthfeel. Good.

Had this at the World Beer Festival in Durham. Have to confess this was the last beer I took notes on before I just started having fun because the palate was getting shot. Pours a hazy amber/ orange color with a fairly thick off white head. Aroma is actually pretty good smelling of citrius and spice. Taste is a strong bitter fruit tast almost like a lemon but sweeter, spices come out in the end for a smoother finish with a kick of alcohol.

on draught. pours a murky very orange hue with no head. The aroma is floral, citrusy, and quite vinous. Very impessive complexity for a little brewpub offering, some dried apricots, cloves, and a touch of raisins. Very smooth and drinkable.
