Appearance: Cloudy, reminiscent of a dark Hoegaarden, somewhat strawy.
Nose: Subtle, but solid.
Taste: This one was damn sexy. Grainy, hoppy, a nice bitter note with some snappiness to it, and a twist of apricot. Quality "English understatement" that I adore. I give this one an A+ in the flavor department.
Palate: Perfect.
Overall: Wonderful. A tremendous session beer. shp555 (1688), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Aroma of lightly sweet pale grainy malts and a piny English hop presence. Starts fairly full and lightly sweet with an earthy soapy bittering hoppy character before a crisp, dry bittersweet finish. A decent, pretty drinkable APA. Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2006 Oaky, gold-brown, filmy head. Lightly floral, slightly plummy, medium sweet ale aroma. Lightly roasted , hoppy, a little oversparged, some diacetyl. Bitter finish, medium to mediuim light body. Mix a west coast brown with an English PA and this is what you get. Finish overstays its welcome a bit.
