Dec 18, 2006 Updated: Jul 7, 2007Draught at brew pub. Pours hazy golden color, with a sizable head, noticeable even in the little sample glass I had. The aroma is full of fruit, and yeast notes. the flavor is indeed very grainy, and fruity. Finishes dry.

Oct 12, 2006 Tap at the Durham WBF. Hazy gold with a big white head. Somewhat sweet, grainy nose, some appley notes. Full grainy flavors, fruitier than expected. Mild bitter finish. One of the better pilseners I’ve had lately.

Jun 30, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with thin white head. Hoppy nose reminisceny of apples. Crisp and fruity flavor with a light grainy note in the background. A bit sweet. Okay.
NachlamSie (1630), Tennessee, USA
May 16, 2006 draught. Hazy copper pour with a firm white head. The nose is quite sweet of apples and granulated sugar. The flavor brings out more notes of apples and non-descript sweetness which are followed with woody, earthy notes. It’s crisp with no off flavors and displays a great balance, but it’s fairly thin and unexciting.
